Forthcoming Events

The Gymea Lily Psychotherapy Centre announces a series of free public seminars on three burning personal issues, and three for Health Professionals and GPs only.

DVDs containing all 3 talks will soon be available for $5 each. To order one, please email us.

  • Relationships – have you lost that loving feeling? 30th of July.
    How can you make sense of what goes on in your relationship? Where do the initial feelings of elation go? Why does one fight over the same issues when at times it doesn't make sense? How can one have a long-term solid relationship? All these questions will be addressed and more in our seminar on relationships.

    For handouts from the Relationships workshop, click HERE (requires PowerPoint).
  • What is Psychotherapy? 20th of August;
    This talk will explain what psychodynamic psychotherapy is all about, how it works and what benefits one can get from it. There will be adult and child case examples given. The presenters are Vera Auerbach, Clinical Psychologist, and Jacinta Frawley, Jungian Analyst.

The presenters are Kirk Stenhouse, Clinical Psychologist, Michelle Tadros, Clinical Psychologist, and Vera Auerbach, Clinical Psychologist

    Depression handouts coming soon.

Professional therapists from the Gymea Lily Psychotherapy Centre will present these seminars, using case studies to make their advice and techniques come alive.

The seminars will also discuss how psychotherapy differs from both psychiatry and cognitively-based psychology.

All seminars will be held in the beautiful surroundings of the Hazelhurst Regional Gallery and Arts Centre, and light refreshments will be provided.

All seminars start at 3pm.

These seminars are open to all, although seats are strictly limited.
