Depression – non-medical treatment options. 17th of
September.
Come to hear about how psychologists define and treat depression.
We will look at cognitive-behavioural therapy, and psychoanalytic
psychotherapy, for depression. The presenters are Kirk Stenhouse,
Clinical Psychologist, Michelle Tadros, Clinical Psychologist, and
Vera Auerbach, Clinical Psychologist

Professional therapists
from the Gymea Lily Psychotherapy Centre will present these seminars,
using case studies to make their advice and techniques come alive.
The seminars will also discuss how psychotherapy
differs from both psychiatry and cognitively-based psychology.
All seminars will be held in the beautiful surroundings
of the Hazelhurst Regional Gallery and Arts Centre, and light refreshments
will be provided.
All seminars start at 3pm.
These seminars are open to all, although seats are
strictly limited.
