About
Gloria is a Registered Psychologist who has been part of Gymea Lily Psychotherapy Centre since 2013. With over 35 years of experience across education and mental health, she brings a warm, practical, and deeply compassionate approach to her work.
Gloria works with adults, adolescents, couples and families, supporting a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and bereavement, stress, anger management, and relationship difficulties. She also has extensive experience helping clients navigate workplace challenges, such as bullying, harassment, discrimination, and work-related stress, and is a registered provider for Worker’s Compensation cases.
Her approach is flexible and tailored to each individual. Gloria integrates a range of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), solution-focused therapy, mindfulness, and family counselling, creating a supportive and collaborative space for change.
Gloria has a strong background in the education system, having worked extensively with children, adolescents, teachers, and families. She has supported the development of emotional literacy programs in schools, including the Circle Time Program, and has delivered workshops on resilience, behaviour management, communication skills, and parenting support.
She also has experience working with families facing chronic illness and cancer, providing sensitive and practical support to both parents and children during challenging times.
Fluent in Italian, Gloria brings a culturally aware and inclusive approach to her work. She is known for her warmth, generosity, and genuine care, creating a space where clients feel supported, understood, and empowered.
Gloria is taking new clients and also offers support to NDIS participants, including home visits where appropriate.
